On Thanksgiving Day, the 10th annual Northborough Turkey Trot 5K run/3K walk will kick off from the Zeh School at 33 Howard Street at 8 a.m. to raise money for the Northborough Food Pantry. When the event began in 2008, Rita Matraia of The Core Connection hosted the race starting in her front yard. Since then participation has skyrocketed and it has outgrown its humble beginnings. Last year, this event grew even further with nearly 600 participants raising over $15k for the Northborough Food Pantry. Register now at www.northboroturkeytrot.com. Adults – $25, 20 and under – $15.
