13th Annual Holiday Trolley and Tree Lighting
Holiday cheer, shopping specials, fun family activities, and delicious treats – save the date now for the popular Northboro Holiday Trolley Day  to be held on Saturday, December 1 from 12 – 5 p.m. followed by the annual Tree Lighting on the corner of Main Street and Blake Street beginning at 5 p.m.
Hop aboard one of two trolleys that will travel all afternoon between participating businesses and restaurants for a unique and festive holiday shopping experience. The trolley is perfect for children and adults, and the trolley rides are free thanks to the generosity of sponsors.
The trolleys will depart from the shopping center located at 247 West Main St., and travel to approximately 10 other stops.
Riders can collect raffle tickets at designated stops to bring to the Community Affairs Tree Lighting ceremony at 5 p.m. on Blake Street to be entered to win some fabulous raffle prizes.
The Annual Tree Lighting began in 1968 in honor of the memory of Neil Ellsworth, an Army private first class, who was killed in Vietnam in 1967 at the age of 19. The tree lighting is coordinated by the Northborough Community Affairs Committee.
Sponsors of the tree lighting include Anthony Joseph Real Estate, Avidia Bank, Jacob Stein Cosmetic and Family Dentistry and Wegmans.

5:00 p.m. Pizza, cookies and hot cocoa will be served (while supplies last).
