A five week Cross Country running series of short races through the fields and trails of Algonquin Regional High School located at 79 Bartlett Street is planned for the summer. Races will be held on Wednesday nights from July 17-August 14 and begin at 6:30 pm. T-shirts will be awarded to top males, females and age groups.
The races are open to anyone regardless of age, ability or town of residence.
Registration begins at 6 pm at the concession stands by the JV Baseball field, and the fee is $5 per person, per race (exact cash please).
In the event of inclement weather, races will be postponed or cancelled. Notices will be posted to THawkDistanceProject.com.
Due to safety reasons, headphones, dogs and baby strollers are not allowed in the races.

July 17: Standard 5k race
July 24: Age Graded Race, 5k
July 31: 3k short race
August 7: Predicted Time Race, 5k
August 14: 2 person, 4 mile relay
August 21: make up rain date (if needed)
