The 7th annual Matt Galligan Spring Classic will commence on July 13 at Ellsworth-McAfee Park. The Spring Classic is a 3 vs. 3 basketball tournament that brings the local community together through a common love for basketball.
For the second straight year, the tournament will be played in honor of Matt Galligan, a Northborough resident who passed away in 2017 from brain cancer at the age of 20. 100% of donations go to The Sister’s Wish, an organization that helps improve the quality of life for young adults with terminal illnesses. During Matt’s fight with cancer, he adopted the phrase “No One Fights Alone”.
