Friends of Southborough Recreation (FOSR) is gearing up for its biggest fundraiser of the year, the Gobble Wobble. The 13th annual Gobble Wobble is a 5K certified race, two-mile walk and Kids’ Fun Run on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 28, at the P. Brent Trottier Middle School, 49 Parkerville Road.
Registration begins at 7 a.m., with the 5K at 8:30 a.m. and the Fun Run at 9 a.m. Online registration is available. Walk-in and mail-in registrations may be done through Southborough Recreation, 21 Highland St., Southborough, MA 01772. Checks may be made payable to Friends of Southborough Recreation.
The pre-registration fee is $35 for the run/walk; $25 for ages 18 and under. The registration fee on the day of the event will be $40. The Fun Run is free for all three age levels: 2-5, 6-8 and 9-11.
Children can be dropped off the day off the event at the Trottier school cafeteria where experienced babysitters will provide fun activities.
