“All in it Together” Video Festival Submissions

“All in it Together” Video Festival Submissions

Northborough Cable Access Television‘s (NCAT) first-ever video festival for Northborough residents has been announced. The event is designed to highlight fun and entertaining videos created during these “stay at home” times due to the Coronavirus. There are multiple age categories:

Pre-K thru Grade 8
Grade 9-12
Adults
Families

Once enough submissions have been submitted, a “Premiere” night of videos will be scheduled.

Videos can be anything–a play put on by your kids, a cooking show, game or movie review show, music performance, planting your vegetable garden, mom and dad silly dancing in the kitchen, a mindfulness session, yoga class, family video message for Grandma, claymation/stop-action movie, poetry reading, dog/pet tricks, anything at all!  Make us laugh, teach us, or share with your neighbors how you are using your time stuck at home.

Maximum length is 5 minutes each. Videos should not include any violence, cursing, cruelty or dangerous activities.

Remember that if you are using your phone, make sure that it is horizontal (landscape) and that if you are submitting it to the Dropbox (see below for the link), it needs to be no larger than 2GB.

If you are uploading a video, please verify that all parties present in the content give consent to it being used by Northborough Cable Access Television and are aware that you are doing so. Content created by anyone under 18 years old must be submitted by a parent or guardian. You hereby release from liability the producer, Algonquin Regional High School, Northborough Cable Access, Town of Northborough, Verizon and Charter Communications for the recording, reproduction, exhibition, telecasting and distribution of your visual image and voice for non-profit use. You are also representing that your content does not contain any illegal acts or activities or copyrighted materials. Northborough Cable Access Television makes no promise that all content uploaded will be used. Some content may be rejected for its content and/or quality.

Fill out the form and submit by putting your video clip into our Dropbox or upload to YouTube and give us your URL.
