Northboro T-Hawks Cooperstown team holds Super Bowl fundraiser

The Northboro T-Hawks Coopertown 12U baseball team is heading to New York. The Team is a non-profit organization, whose goal is to promote teamwork, sportsmanship, self-esteem and the sport of baseball by taking a team to participate in a week-long tournament at the All-Star Village, located just outside of Cooperstown, NY, the historic site of the Baseball Hall of Fame. This tournament was cancelled last year due to COVID-19 restrictions.

The team is currently fundraising to help defray the cost of the trip by selling Super Bowl Squares. Each square is $20 and payment can be made via Venmo @NBTHAWKS21. Complete the online form. The blocks will be randomly assigned. Additional forms will be added once all squares are purchased.

Squares are being sold through Saturday, Feb. 6. Buy your square and sit back and watch the Super Bowl game – Kansas City Chiefs vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, Feb. 7. To win, you must own the block at the intersection of the last two digits of each teams’ respective score at the end of the quarter of play.

The tournament trip is a once in a lifetime experience for the team to compete in a high-caliber tournament playing against their peers, bond with their teammates while spending a week together and connect with other baseball players from around the country.
