The Worcester County Environmental Community Agricultural Network (We-Can) in coordination with the towns of Northborough, Grafton, Shrewsbury and Westborough will be hosting a multi-town recycling and reuse day on Saturday, March 6 from 10 am- 1 pm at the Grafton Municipal Center located at 30 Providence Road, Grafton. All towns are welcome.
Electronics, textiles and more will be accepted. Only block form Stryrofoam will be accepted at this event.
A small CASH only fee will be accepted for electronics (ranging from $10-$40 based on size). Mattresses and boxsprings (no water beds) will be accepted for $20 per unit.
The event will also be collecting items for free to benefit local charities and organizations. Small countertop appliances for Fresh Start Furniture Bank; kitchen utensils, pots, pans, dishes in working condition for Urban Missionaries, craft and office supplies for Great Exchange and gently used books, CDs/DVDs and video games.
