In honor of Global Recycling Day on Thursday, March 18, residents are reminded that all public schools have Bay State Textiles recycling bins permanently placed by their parking lots.
The bins are regularly emptied and items are weighed. The PTOs receive a donation based on the weight of items donated. This is an easy way to help the environment as well as the schools.
View the list of acceptable and unacceptable items to donate. Yup-those single socks and stuffed animals now have a place to go!
Items must be clean and dry and placed in plastic bags. If the bins are full, please do not leave bags outside of the bin. Items are reused, repurposed and recycled.
