Boros Cares 4 Troops (BC4T) is continuing to honor Veterans and active military men and women through their Hometown Heroes program. The program creates banners that will be hung along Route 20 during the months of October and November.
There are 500 veterans currently living in town. Last fall, 100 banners were hung.
The deadline for applications is Sunday, May 30. This program is open to honor veterans who live or have lived in Northborough.
Although there is no cost to apply, the cost for each banner design, production, and installation by Department of Public Works staff is $300. Donations are appreciated.
If you would like to help sponsor a banner for a family, you can do so by mailing a check to Boros Cares 4 Troops, P.O. Box 304, Northborough, MA 01532 with a note of “Hometown Heroes” or you can make a donation online with PayPal. BC4T is a 501(c)(3) organization and donations are tax deductible.
