It’s time to put out your stuffed bears (or other stuffed friends) by your front windows or yards. There’s going to be a Bear Hunt in town on Saturday, April 3 and the weather is looking great for it.
Northborough Moms group member Julie Sarvaiya has organized the second annual Northborough Bear Hunt. Last year’s organized by Nikol Maher was such a success and enjoyed by many. Once again, the day will kick off with the help of Northborough Free Library Children’s Department Librarian Ms. Katrina, who will read the book, “We’re Going on a Bear Hunt” by Michael Rosen. Join the Facebook Live event on Saturday, April 3 at 9:30 am.
After the book is read, get your little bear hunters ready to visit neighborhoods and see how many they can find. Other fun ideas to search for is your child’s favorite bear, the street with the most bears found, the biggest bear, the silliest bear, or the smallest bear.
Displayed bears should be placed so kids can easily spot them from the road (walking or driving by). All social distancing and masking protocols should be followed.
Be sure to stop by Main Street Pastries and more located at 5 West Main Street (corner of Route 20 and South Street, next door to Richdale Convenience store). If the kids can spot the bear cupcakes in the case, they will receive one free.
