The Friends of the Northborough Library will accept donations of books, DVDs, and CDs at the Northborough Library (34 Main Street) parking lot on Saturday, April 17, 10 am -12 pm only. Book donations will only be accepted from members of Friends of the Northborough Library in good standing. A list of current members will be referenced. Non-members can join by completing the form and paying prior or on the day of the event. Membership is $20/per person or family and $10/seniors.
Please package all books in cardboard boxes not larger than a paper ream box. You will be expected to load the boxes into the back of a pickup truck yourself. Books should be in good condition. Encyclopedias, textbooks older than five years, magazines, Reader’s Digests condensed books, chewed baby books or books in poor condition will not be accepted.
Please do not leave donations at the library; they will be discarded.
The Friends plan to host an outdoor Summer Reading Book Sale on Saturday, May 29.
