Join Craftworks as they participate in the Have a Ball Fall Crawl (virtual) on Sept. 17-19 and 24-26 and the Greater Boston Yarn Crawl on Sept. 30 through Oct. 3.
According to Urban Dictionary, to “yarn crawl” is to “tour/visit/salivate over a city’s local yarn shops for extreme fiber enthusiasts.” If this tickles your fancy, you won’t want to miss these great local opportunities!
Craftworks is excited to have been selected to be one of the 36 shops in the NATIONWIDE “Have a Ball Fall Virtual Yarn Crawl”. Each shop has been assigned a 45-minute slot to show off their town, their shop and any special kits or deals they have for the shoppers. Craftworks will be featured on Friday, 9/24 @ 1PM. Keep an eye on the website for details on registration and schedule—and plan to join them. Who knows what treasures you will find and WHERE!
The Greater Boston Yarn Crawl will feature fourteen fabulous local yarn shops in the Greater Boston area. Shops will be showcasing yarn, hosting special guests, featuring trunk shows and demonstrations. Many specials, raffles and giveaways will also be offered. This is a wonderful way to discover some different shops in your area, or revisit your favorites.
You choose – visit all the shops, a few of the shops, or just one. A yarn crawl is also a super way to mingle with other fiber fanatics and find out what they are excited about!
