Special Ed parent group announces November speaker, ‘No Sibling left Behind’

The Northborough Southborough Special Education Parent Advisory Council (NSPAC) presents their next Speaker Series webinar event on Tuesday, November 16, 6-7pm via Zoom. The Massachusetts Sibling Support Network will present “No Sibling Left Behind,” providing an overview of the sibling experience, sibling movement, and research trends, as well as strategies and tips to support siblings of people with disabilities. All are welcome. Register online.

NSPAC is a volunteer-run, positive and solution oriented organization of parents of students ages 3-22 with special needs, medical challenges, and learning differences in the Northborough and Southborough School Districts.

Whether your child is already receiving support services or you are trying to determine if your child needs services, NSPAC is dedicated to providing information, resources and friendships to families as you navigate the special education process.

Meetings, speakers, and events of interest can be found on the website at www.nspac.org or follow NSPAC on Facebook.

The Massachusetts Sibling Support Network supports siblings of people with all types of disabilities in Massachusetts. This is offered across the sibling’s lifespan and includes providing information and education, creating welcoming communities for siblings, and improving access to sibling services.
