There may not be any snow on the ground yet, but snowmen are coming to town! Introducing the Great Northborough Snowman Hunt – a fun, community holiday experience designed to engage local families and local businesses. Kids of all ages are invited to search for 32 snowmen hiding around town in front of participating businesses and organizations between Sunday, November 28 and Saturday, December 4. The fun all leads up to the Northborough Holiday Tree Lighting on Saturday, December 4 at 5 p.m.
Here’s how it works:
- Print a copy of the Snowman Hunt Passport sheet.
- There will be 32 snowmen hidden around town. There will be a combination of INFLATABLE SNOWMEN located in front of businesses and PAPER CUTOUT SNOWMEN on business doors. Be sure to keep checking back throughout the week as there are a variety of participating businesses with varying operation hours.
- Keep an eye on the Northborough Guide Facebook and Instagram pages for hints throughout the week.
- When you find a snowman, bring your sheet inside to get a stamp—and maybe other fun surprises too! Note: each business has its own unique stamp (or, in a few cases, sticker!) so there’s no doubling up!
- Bring your sheet to the Northborough Holiday Tree Lighting at 5 p.m. on Saturday, December 4. The first 200 participants to turn in a sheet with AT LEAST 20 STAMPS will get a prize. Participants who collect ALL 32 STAMPS will be entered to win our Grand Prize!
