Executive function skills expert Sarah Ward to speak

Does your child have difficulty organizing their school work; remembering tasks; and prioritizing, planning or initiating tasks? These are executive function (EF) skills, which are mental skills that impact students at home, school and in social situations. They are important in all aspects of life.

Sarah Ward, M.S., CCC/SLP and Co-Director of Cognitive Connections is a popular speaker and internationally recognized expert on executive function skills. She will be speaking via a free webinar on Monday, March 28 at 7 p.m.

Online registration is required.

She will discuss how to teach children to manage their time, space and materials and keep their emotions in check. In this practical strategies seminar, parents and professionals will develop a solid understanding of what executive function skills are and how they impact a student’s academic and personal performance.

The event is co-sponsored by the Special Education Parent Advisory Councils of Northborough-Southborough, Nashoba, Maynard, Concord-Carlisle and Hingham.
