The Town of Northborough released a press release on February 16 seeking volunteers for the newly established advisory committee, known as the Northborough Committee for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (NDEIB Committee). This committee will consist of a diverse group of Northborough residents that is representative of the town’s population.
The NDEIB Committee will consist of nine (9) voting members to include the Town Administrator or his/her designee, a representative from the School Department’s Coalition for Equity, a representative from the Council on Aging or their designee, and six (6) at-large members to be appointed by the Board of Selectmen. The Coalition for Equity member must be a Northborough resident.
If interested, submit a brief letter of interest and a resume no later than Monday, March, 14 to the Board of Selectmen, 63 Main Street, Northborough, MA 01532 or by email to dwackell@town.northborough.ma.us.
