Southborough Youth and Family Services and Be Well Northborough will present QPR Gatekeeper Suicide Prevention Training with Shannon Kinayman on Tuesday, Sept. 27, 7-9 p.m. at the Northborough Free Library meeting room.
QPR Gatekeeper Suicide Prevention Training is a grass-roots way for you to help keep friends, loved ones and our community safe. QPR is an acronym for Question, Persuade, Refer. It teaches basic skills to help a person in crisis. This two hour training will teach you to ask the suicide Question, how to Persuade a person to tell you more and to seek help and Refer to outside help.
