Northborough Education Foundation (NEF) has brought you the Applefest Gala in September, Gala Junior in February, Team Trivia Night in April and the Princess Tea Party in May. Have you honored a teacher/staff member by purchasing a Golden Apple in the past? That’s NEF too!
You are invited to join NEF’s first meeting of the school year on Wednesday, October 12 at 6:30 p.m. at Melican Middle School Library. The meeting is informational only to discuss the goals of the coming year.
All of NEF’s events benefit the Northborough schools in the form of grants.
The events are all run by volunteers. Volunteer commitments vary — you decide how much time you can give and what you’d like to help with — but new faces and ideas and more help are needed. Events are in jeopardy of being cut back significantly, which means that available grant funds will be affected.
Attend the meeting, meet other members and determine if you are able to help in anyway.
