Two new virtual workshops offered by library

The Northborough Library has announced two programs for March.

  • Better Balance Virtual Workshop. Tuesday March 7; 10-11 a.m. on Zoom. Have you noticed that your balance is a little off and not what it used to be? In this much requested topic of “Balance Training”, we will learn why this happens and what we can do to improve our balance, maintain the ability to do daily tasks, and decrease our risk of injury and falls. During this program, we will learn and participate in exercises that will strengthen our ability to balance.  Comfortable clothes and shoes are recommended.   • Eat This, Not That Virtual Workshop. Tuesday March 21; 10 a.m. on Zoom. Good nutrition can positively impact our immune system, health, well-being, productivity, performance, energy, mood, weight management, and prevent certain chronic diseases.  Join us for this fun and interactive nutrition program, and learn how making simple tweaks in our foods lead to big results!
