The Algonquin Regional High School (ARHS) Booster Club is holding a girls volleyball camp Monday, August 13 – Thursday, August 16. The camp is designed to introduce girls of all skill levels to the competitive game of volleyball. Through this clinic, girls will learn skills, positions, strategy, and teamwork. No special equipment is needed, however, a court type of shoe, knee pads, and plenty of water are recommended.
The camp is open to all girls of all skill levels who are entering grades 6-9 and camp hours will be 9 am – 12 pm. Girls entering grades 10-11 can participate in a pre-season clinic and camp hours will be from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm.
Registration is limited and filled on a first come, first serve basis. The fee of $125 per participant (incoming grades 6-9) or $50 per participant (incoming grades 10-11) covers all clinic fees and a T-shirt for each participant. There is a sibling rate available. Register by July 28 in order to receive a t-shirt. Proceeds benefit the ARHS Volleyball Boosters Club.
