The Northborough Travelers announced their fall foliage trip to Harvard to tour Fruitlands Museum by deluxe motor coach on Wednesday, October 10, 2018.
The Museum is home of five collections on 210 acres. It was founded in 1914 by Clara Endicott Sears. The Museum Cafe, Store/Admissions, Visitor Center and Art Museum are handicap accessible. The Shaker Museum, Native American Museum and Farmhouse are antique buildings and are not handicap accessible.
A staff member will be available to transport patrons with lower mobility around the property.
The self-guided tour of Fruitlands will be followed by a lunch buffet (salad, sandwiches, and fruit) under the tent at Fruitlands Cafe.
The group will make a morning stop at Bolton Orchards in route and will make a surprise stop on the way home.
Northborough Travelers trips are open to all on a first come, first served basis. The group provides inexpensive day and overnight trips for seniors in and around Northboro. The cost for the October trip is $65 per person and includes all gratuities. For further information and reservations, contact Jane Fletcher at 508-393-2414.
