The Northborough Baseball & Softball Association (NBSA) is holding a winter evaluation for all players registering for the 2019 spring Majors and AAA baseball seasons for those who missed the fall 2018 tryouts (evaluations are not required for those who played in Majors last year). The evaluations help ensure proper placement on a team for the 2019 season.
The evaluations will take place on Saturday, February 2 at In The Batters Box, 312 Main Street, Hudson, MA from 4-6 p.m. Players will be assigned a 60 minute window at either 4 or 5 p.m.
Players will go through basic fielding, throwing, and hitting drills. Please have your child bring their glove, helmet (if they own one), and bat (if they own one). There will be extra equipment for those kids that need it. Players should wear shoes appropriate for indoor turf and parents should plan on staying for the evaluation.
It’s not too late to register for spring baseball.
