The Northboro Junior Woman’s Club will be holding its 12th Annual “Women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Conference” to give middle school girls the opportunity to explore careers in science, technology, engineering and math on Saturday, March 30 at Algonquin Regional High School located at 79 Bartlett Street from 8:15 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
Girls will have the opportunity to attend four, 40 minute interactive hands-on career workshops. This year, presenters will represent the fields of architecture, forensic chemistry, conservation, exercise science and more. Lunch will follow the workshops.
The program is free and those interested are encouraged to register early as spots fill up quickly.
