OTHER NEWS AND IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER
- The Northborough-Southborough Public School district will be holding summer enrichment programs to give K-8 students an opportunity to engage in fun, and exciting learning experiences focused on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (S.T.E.A.M.). Register by 4 p.m. on March 8.
- For the K-8 community, flyers and other communications from school and town organizations are posted on the individual school’s website under the “Families” link.
March 2: Algonquin Regional High School Winter theather, Proof, 7 p.m. in the Small Performance Theater.
March 2: Reading Goals Workshop presented by Nancy Duggan (founder of Decoding Dyslexia-MA) to be held at Northborough Library, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. hosted by Northborough-Southborough Special Education Parent Advisory Council (NSPAC).
March 4-15: Algonquin Regional High School course selection.
March 6: Melican Middle School PTO meeting, 6 pm. New board members and volunteers for various committees are needed.
March 6: Northborough K-8 School Committee meeting, 7 p.m., Melican Middle School library.
March 8: Algonquin Regional High School progress reports released.
March 10: Daylight Savings Time begins. Remember to change your clocks.
March 11: No School-staff professional development day. (Except Proctor School, it’s a mold make up day)
March 13: Special Education Basic Rights presentation hosted by Northborough-Southborough Special Education Parent Advisory Council (NSPAC), 6-8 p.m. at Melican Middle School library.
March 16: Zeh School pancake breakfast, 8:30-10:30 a.m.
March 20: Combined School Committee Meeting, 6 p.m., followed by the Regional School Committee meeting, 7 p.m., at Algonquin Regional High School library
March 21: Northborough and Southborough Family Math Night, 6:30-8 p.m. at Algonquin Regional High School cafeteria.
March 27: Grade 5 parent orientation at Melican Middle School, 6:30 p.m.
March 28: Elementary School half day – parent/teacher conferences.
March 29: No school-staff professional development day. (Except Proctor School, it’s a mold make up day)
