Northborough resident Chrissy Casella is running the Boston Marathon in April as a member of the Massachusetts Fallen Heroes Marathon Team. As part of her commitment, she is raising money for the organization, which helps both families of fallen heroes as well as Veterans.
A fundraiser event will be held on Sunday, March 24 from 2-6 p.m. at American Legion Post 234 located at 402 West Main Street. The event will include a mobile gaming truck for the kids to enjoy, raffles, a DJ, cash bar, food donated by Monti’s Pizza, and kids activities throughout the afternoon, including a balloonist between 3-5 p.m. This is a kid friendly event and all ages are welcome.
Admission is $20 per person (cash at the door only). Donations can also be made online at Crowdrise.
She will be dedicating mile 25 to Spc. Brian K. Arsenault, Northborough’s own fallen hero.
