Electronic Equipment and Appliance Recycling Day

St. Rose of Lima’s Young Neighbors in Action group will be holding an electronic equipment and appliance recycling day on Saturday, April 6 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m or until the truck is full. The event will be held rain or shine in the church parking lot located at 244 West Main Street.

Clean out your unwanted computer monitors, electronics, TVs and appliances for a small fee.

This annual collection day benefits the high school youth service group, consisting of 57 high school students, who will be participating in four separate service trips this summer. Proceeds will help defray costs for these summer mission trips.

A sample of pricing includes:

$1-$2:  keyboards, mice, small computer speakers, flash drives, small external memory drives, mp3s, cell phones, small digital cameras, all small handheld devices and controllers.

$5-$10:  computer towers, laptops, small printers, large speakers, large external drives, VCR/DVD/CD players, video equipment, fax machines, copiers

$10:  small household appliances such as microwave ovens, toasters

$25: large household appliances such as washers, dryers, refrigerators, freezers

Televisions under 24″: $20; televisions over 24″:  $25

Please no flourescent bulbs, car batteries, or items containing fuel.
