Avidia Bank located on 53 West Main Street in Northborough will be hosting a shred day on Saturday, May 4 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
Shred Days are a great way to reduce the risk of identity theft and help the environment through recycling unwanted documents. Avidia Bank is working in conjunction with E.L. Harvey & Sons, who is a professional document destruction company. Bring in your old mail, receipts, personal forms, credit card statements, and any other paperwork with your personal information.
Donations for the Northborough Food Pantry will also be collected.
Other branch locations will also hold similar events to also include fun activities.
