Trinity Church of Northboro, located at 23 Main Street, will hold a brief Ash Wednesday worship service on Wednesday, Feb. 17.
Ash Wednesday begins the season of Lent, the time when to focus on Jesus’ way to the cross, his suffering, and death. At 5 pm, a brief service will be held on Facebook Live at 5 p.m. Starting at 5:30 pm, Pastor Valeria will offer “ashes to go” to Community Meals attendants as they drive through the parking lot. Other members of Trinity and the wider community are welcome to come between 6:30-7 pm to have ashes placed on their forehead in the sign of a cross. Please remain in your cars and wear a mask.
