The Assabet Valley Mastersingers (AVM) invite you to their concert Messiah Sing on Sunday, December 16, 2018 starting at 3:30 p.m. to be held at First Church in Marlborough, Congregational located at 37 High Street, Marlborough, MA.
The Christmas portion of Handel’s oratorio in addition to the “Hallelujah Chorus” will be sung. Those in attendance will be invited to join with members of the chorus sitting in sections according to voice part. Generally, all participants greatly enjoy this beloved tradition of the Christmas season.
Accomplished organist Brett Maguire will provide accompaniment and vocal soloists will be soprano Kristen Watson, mezzo Katarina Galagaza, tenor Gregory Zavracky, and baritone Frank Rosamond. AVM Artistic Director Robert P. Eaton will direct the ensemble.
Some scores are available to share, although participants are urged to bring their own, if possible. Those people who would prefer to listen are also welcome.
A donation of $10 is suggested. Guests will be invited to share refreshments following the “sing.”
