The Assabet Valley Mastersingers (AVM) will host a Summer Sing featuring excerpts from Mendelssohn’s great oratorio Elijah on Monday, August 22, 7:30 PM at Congregation B’nai Shalom, 117 East Main Street, Westborough, MA. Come sing the choruses with members of the AVM chorus while professional soloists sing the solos.
All are welcome! Bring your music score or borrow one at the door.
Admission is $10 per person at the door.
Artistic Director Dr. Robert Eaton will briefly rehearse the audience/chorus in the choral sections of the Elijah prior to directing the selected movements. Soloists will be Soprano Erin Smith, Mezzo Soprano Natalja Sticco, Tenor Christopher Eaglin, Bass Anthony Garza, and accompanist Mark Bartlett.
All attendees will be required to show proof of COVID vaccination and are strongly encouraged to wear masks.
