On March 14, the Board of Selectmen voted to appropriate $100,000 of ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act) funds to a new initiative: Be Well Northborough. This is a collaborative health and wellness initiative aimed at helping Northborough from the COVID-19 pandemic. The focus is on promoting health and wellness.
The development of this program is in progress and your ideas, requests, or suggestions are being sought.
Please submit online. All submissions will be shared with the Town of Northborough COVID-19 Task Force for review and consideration.
What happens to the remainder of the ARPA funds that have been awarded to Northborough? Resident, non-profit and business input is needed for that too and can be done during an upcoming forum, If You Had 4 Million Dollars: A Forum to Discuss Community Needs Post-Covid on Wednesday, March 23, 7-9 p.m. at Trinity Church.
