The Northborough Fire Department’s 2021 Brush Burning permit application is available online. The burning season is from Friday, Jan. 15 – Saturday, May 1.
You must obtain a permit for any open burning. There is no charge for the permit.

Each day of burning requires you to email the fire department at nfdbrushseason@yahoo.com or call 508-393-1537 between 9:15 am and noon on the day you wish to burn. The email must include the permit number you receive, address and phone number. An automatic response will be sent to confirm if conditions are acceptable to burn on that day.
