The annual Build-a-Scarecrow Day sponsored by the Northborough Recreation Department will be held on Saturday, September 28 (raindate is Sunday, September 29) from 10 am – 12 pm at the Assabet Park located on Route 135/South Street.
The cost is $10 per family and scarecrow mounting, straw, twine and material for the face will be provided. Participants should bring clothing and any accessories to be used on their scarecrow.
Please note that the scarecrow and materials will be displayed at the park until Halloween and will not be returned.
Registration is required and can be done online or in person at the Recreation Department located at Town Hall, 63 Main Street, during normal business hours.
