Candidates Invited to Submit Statements

The Northborough Guide invites all candidates for the May 9th town election to submit, in writing, answers to the questions below for publication on our website and in our weekly email. Please send your submission as a Microsoft Word or Google document to info@northboroughguide.com. You may also include one head shot with your submission. Please provide head shots as a separate attachment (not embedded in the MS Word or Google document). Responses to any single question should not exceed 500 words and full interview should not exceed 1200 words. Any responses exceeding these limits will be returned for editing.

Candidate responses will be posted on NorthboroughGuide.com within 3 business days of receipt and will be broadcast in the weekly Northborough Guide email the first Tuesday after they have been published. 

Please answer the following questions:

1) Why do you want to serve in this position? 

2) What special qualifications and experience will you bring to the office? 

3) Describe ONE other activity or (sub)committee you’ve been involved with within the town. What has it meant to you and how did it shape and impact the town? 

4) Describe THREE key issues/challenges facing the town and how will you address them in this role? 

5) Is there anything else that you would like to share about yourself?
