Cards for veterans and front-line workers needed

Grab your paper and markers! During the COVID-19 crisis, many people are looking for opportunities within the community to help others and to simply share a smile with someone. Here are ways your card making skills can be used and it can make for a great activity the entire family can do together.

Boroughs Family Branch YMCA in Westborough 

Thank you cards will be delivered directly to the health care workers, grocery store clerks, first responders, child care staff, and everyone else on the front line of this pandemic.

Cards can be mailed to the branch at  4 Valente Drive, Westborough MA 01581 or email jheiland@ymcaofcm.org by Tuesday, May 5 to arrange pick up of any letters sealed in envelopes and taped to your mailbox on Thursday, May 7.

Boros Cares 4 Troops 

Cards thanking the over 300 Northborough veterans over the age of 70 for their service or letting them know they are in your thoughts will help to brighten their day. Cards will be included in care packages that are currently being put together. They can be dropped off in the blue bin at the office of Michelle Gillespie Realtors at 10 Main Street, Northborough (corner of Route 20 and Route 135). Cards can also be mailed to BC4T, PO Box 304, Northborough MA 01532.
