Community Meals to-go is offered every Wednesday from 5:30-6:30 pm at Trinity Church parking lot, located at 23 Main Street. In order to observe social distancing guidelines, please follow the line of traffic and a meal will be brought to your car. The need for these free meals has increased since the start of the pandemic.
The volunteer run program is made possible through Northboro Junior Woman’s Club, Northborough Helping Hands Assoc. Inc. (NHHA), Northborough Food Pantry and Northborough Family and Youth Services.
A partnership with local restaurants help to provide free meals to those who need them. Restaurants provide dinner entrees to the program for a discounted price of $5. On average, there are 120 meals needed each week: a cost of $600 per week to run the program. Without donations, this program will not be able to continue after March.
Donations from community members are needed. Donate online through the NHHA link or mail a check made payable to NHHA, PO Box 383, Northborough MA 01532 with a note in the memo of “community meals” on the check.
