Community theater coming to ‘Our Town’

Yorick Ensemble will be holding auditions for their production of “Our Town,” with performances on the Northborough Town Common on Thursday, August 26-Saturday, August 28.

Complete the online audition sign up. Auditions will be held outdoors on Tuesday, July 6 and Wednesday, July 7 from 5-8:30 p.m. at Algonquin Regional High School, 79 Bartlett Street. Auditions will consist of a reading of the provided sides or a contemporary monologue of your choice, not to exceed 90 seconds. Director Josh Telepman, Assistant Director Michael Jay, and Stage Manager, Max Wallace will be viewing auditions.

Rehearsals will take place three days a week in Northborough starting the week of July 12, likely Saturday and Sunday afternoons and one weekday evening, but subject to change based on actor availability

A large, multi-generational cast is being sought and there are opportunities for new and experienced performers. The role of stage manager has been cast. Seeking 11 male, 5 female and 5-7 other cast members.

Professor Willard – gender flexible, older
Simon Stimson – male, age flexible

Ensemble – 4 to 6 people of all ages and genders
