They year 2022 is winding down quickly. Here’s what to know in December in the schools, but be sure to check individual school and district websites for any changes.
- View employment opportunities available in the Northborough Southborough Public Schools District. Positions include Administrative Assistant, bus monitors, aides, substitute teachers, and food service staff.
- Time to thank a teacher or staff member for the holidays. The Northborough Education Foundation’s annual Warm Wishes fundraiser will be accepting orders through Monday, December 19.
- Learn more about the Say Something Program. The Program teaches students, teachers, and administrators how to recognize warning signs and signals, especially within social media, of individuals who may be a threat to themselves or others to Say Something to a trusted adult or use its anonymous reporting system.

- December 6: Melican Middle School chorus/band concert for grades 7/8 at Algonquin Regional High School, 7 p.m.
- December 7: Northborough Southborough Combined School Committee meeting, 5:30 p.m. at Algonquin Regional High School Library. The Northborough School Committee Meeting will follow at 7 p.m.
- December 8: Melican Middle School chorus/band concert for grade 6 at Algonquin Regional High School, 7 p.m.
- December 9: Melican Middle School first term report cards issued.
- December 20: Algonquin Reginal High School holiday concert at 7 p.m. (snow date is December 21).
- December 21: Regional School Committee meeting at Algonquin Regional High School Library, 6:30 p.m.
- December 23: Early release day for all schools to start the winter vacation week.
- December 26-30, January 2: no school due to winter vacation. School resumes on Tuesday, January 3.
