Join the AVM for Open Rehearsals!
The AVM invite all interested vocalists aged 18 and older to experience the AVM difference firsthand by attending one of their Open Rehearsals. This is an excellent opportunity to meet the members, get acquainted with the rehearsal process, and enjoy a taste of their choral repertoire. Open Rehearsals will be held on the following dates:
- Monday, August 26
- Tuesday, September 3
- Monday, September 9
Rehearsals are held weekly on Monday evenings from 7:30 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. at First Congregational Church, 19 Church Rd, Shrewsbury, MA.

The AVM are committed to creating a fun and encouraging environment where every individual’s musical potential can thrive. While vocal training is not required, we do value basic musicianship, a keen musical ear, and a genuine love for choral music.
If you’re interested in joining them after attending an Open Rehearsal, please inform their Membership Chair, Deb Wallace. To officially join AVM, an audition with our Artistic Director will be necessary. They ask that you prepare a simple piece to showcase your voice, and the audition will be scheduled at a convenient time prior to a Monday rehearsal.
