The Town of Northborough is pleased to announce that the State Department of Conservation & Recreation (DCR) has approved a dog park in Northborough and is willing to build it as well. Northborough was selected to participate in DCR’s Partnership Matching Funds Program for Fiscal Year 2020. That means if $16,300 can be raised in funds, DCR will match that amount and construct a dog park at the Yellick Conservation Area on Hudson St. It will be a fenced in area with large dog and small dog areas. The park will be open to everyone, as it will be built on DCR land, and there will be no fee to use this park.
Anyone interested in donating towards the fundraising goal for the dog park can do so online at www.northboroughrecreation.com or mail a check to Northborough Recreation, 63 Main St. Northborough, MA 01532.
You can call the office at 508-393-5034 to make donations as well.
