Electronic recycling event at St. Rose

Do you need to declutter your basement, house, or attic from old electronics?

St. Rose of Lima Parish (244 West Main Street) is hosting its annual electronics recycling drive on Saturday, April 15 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. All proceeds will benefit the parish’s Youth Service League, a teen volunteer organization dedicated to serving the needs of others in local communities, and their summer service trips. Electronics varying in size from flash drives to refrigerators will be accepted for a small fee.

Sample prices are below. Prices are subject to change or may be subject to additional fees. Cash or check only.

  • $2-$5- Flash drives, keyboards, cell phones, small digital cameras, small handheld devices and controllers
  • $10- $15 – Small appliances such as toasters, hair dryers,  microwave ovens, printers, fax machines, large speakers, DVD players, game consoles
  • $15 – Computer monitors (flat screen)
  • $20- A/C window units, vacuum cleaners, dehumidifiers
  • $30 – Large appliances such as refrigerators, freezers, ovens, dishwashers
  • $30- Metal items less than 8ft such as treadmills, grills (no tanks)
  • $20 – TVs below 24”, computer monitors (tube)
  • $30 – TVs 24”-48”
  • $35- TVs above 48”
  • $40 – Wood console/projection TVs

Additional electronics will be accepted; however, no bulbs, batteries, or items containing fuel.
