A joyful opportunity to sing MESSIAH with Assabet Valley Mastersingers will take place on Sunday, December 15 at 3:30 pm. The Christmas portion of Handel’s oratorio in addition to the “Hallelujah Chorus” will be sung at First Church Congregational, 37 High Street in Marlborough.
Those in attendance will be invited to join with members of the chorus, sitting in sections according to voice part. Generally, all participants greatly enjoy this beloved tradition of the Christmas season. Accomplished organist Brett Maguire will provide accompaniment, and vocal soloists will be soprano Emily Bieber; mezzo Britt Brown; tenor Christopher Eaglin; and baritone Dave Bonneau. Robert P. Eaton, Artistic Director of the Assabet Valley Mastersingers will direct the ensemble.
Some scores are available to share, although participants are urged to bring their own, if possible. Those people who would prefer to listen are also welcome.
