We all agree that we are supposed to eat a healthy diet, but with all of the conflicting information and fad diets out there, it can be hard to even know what that is. In this class we will talk about how to eat a more traditional diet with simple, unprocessed ingredients. We’ll also try some ‘medicinal’ foods together during the class (don’t worry, they won’t taste like medicine!)
During this class we will explore the following topics:
1. What are the basic concepts of healthy, clean eating?
2. What does Chinese medicine have to say about how to eat healthy and how do you customize those principles to work for your individual constitution?
3. What are some healing/medicinal foods for your body and why?
4. What are some of the pros and cons of some of the major eating ‘trends’?
We’ll take a look at spring cleansing and some non-extreme ways to do some spring cleaning from the inside out!
