Holiday cheer, shopping specials, fun family activities, and delicious treats – the popular Northboro Holiday Trolley Day and annual Tree Lighting in Northborough will be held on Saturday, December 7 from 12-5 pm.
The town’s annual tree lighting and caroling will begin at 5 pm. on Blake Street.
Hop aboard one of two trolleys that will travel all afternoon between participating businesses and restaurants for a unique and festive holiday shopping experience. The trolley is perfect for children and adults, and the trolley rides are free thanks to the generosity of our sponsors.
The trolleys will depart from the shopping center located at 247 West Main St., and travel to approximately 10 other stops. The Trolley stops can be found online.
Riders can collect raffle tickets at designated stops to bring to the Community Affairs Tree Lighting ceremony at 5 pm on Blake Street to be entered to win some fabulous raffle prizes.
The Annual Tree Lighting, in honor of Neil Ellsworth, is sponsored by the Northborough Community Affairs Committee.
Schedule of Tree Lighting Events:
5:00 pm Pizza, cookies and hot cocoa will be served (while supplies last).
5:20 pm Ceremony and Tree Lighting
5:30 pm Holiday carols by a children’s chorus
6:00 pm Holiday Trolley Raffle Drawing
