If you have been saving your plastic film for recycling, the Westborough Rotary Club’s Committee on the Environment has announced its new collection schedule.
Bring recyclables in garbage bags (size 13, 33, or 55 gallon size) to the back entrance of Kohl’s (7102 Shops Way) on the following Saturdays between 8-9 a.m.:
- April 9, 23
- May 7, 21
- June 4, 18
There are also Trex bins at the YMCA by the climbing wall (4 Valente Drive, Westborough) and at Central One Federal Credit Union (accessible from the back parking lot at 40 South Street, Westborough).
Acceptable items include grocery bags, dry cleaner bags, cereal bags, bread bags, plastic shipping envelopes, Ziploc bags, and bubble wrap.
Unacceptable items include plastic with any food residue, hard plastics, potato chip bags with metallic liners, brown mailers with bubble wrap inside.
