Over 500 pounds of plastic bags has been collected so far!
The Westborough Rotary Club’s Committee on the Environment is collecting all clean, soft, flexible plastics as part of the TREX Plastic Film Recycling Challenge.
Donations can be dropped off at Kohl’s, 7102 Shops Way, Northborough from 8-9 am only (back entrance) on Saturdays, Feb. 27, March 13, March 27, April 10, April 24, May 8, May 22. Please use 13, 33 or 55 gallon trash bags when bringing recyclables to Kohl’s. Rotary volunteers will be waiting to safely receive your recyclable plastic.
What can be recycled? Bread bags, ice bags, ZipLoc bags, plastic shipping envelopes, bubble wrap, cereal bags, dry clean bags and grocery bags.
Recyclables should be dropped off to bins at additional participating locations as indicated:
- YMCA, 4 Valente Dr. Westborough (near the climbing wall)
- Central One Federal Credit Union, 40 South Street, Westborough (accessible from back packing lot)
