Northborough Library located at 34 Main Street welcomes Knock on Wood on Saturday, May 11. Knock on Wood is a high-energy acoustic folk-rock duo, featuring singer-songwriter Howie Newman on guitar, lead vocals and harmonica. Howie is joined by Joe Kessler, one of the top fiddlers in the area. Joe also plays mandolin and sings backup vocals. One of the most engaging performers on the local music circuit, Howie combines music, comedy and audience participation to provide a truly unique entertainment experience.
The concert begins at 2 p.m.
The Spring Music Series is funded by the Friends of the Northborough Library and a grant from the Northborough Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
All are welcome to attend and no registration is required. Refreshments will be served.
