Today is the day for Northborough Town Election. Voting times are 7 a.m.-8 p.m.
All voting will take place at Robert E. Melican Middle School in the cafeteria located at 145 Lincoln Street. The cafeteria has direct entry/exit points at the front of the building and is located in the wing furthest from the student population.
A plan developed by the Northborough Police Department will restrict voters to the cafeteria space, ensuring student safety. Additional police presence will be used to maintain building security, student safety and assist with traffic as needed.
The consolidated location for elections will increase safety, and improve efficiency and effectiveness of oversight.
