For beginning and intermediate weavers, start and complete a pair of complementary placemats using a single warp.
Use two contrasting cotton or cotton/linen blend yarns to create whimsical mats to brighten any place setting.
Students will hemstitch their mats for a lovely finishing touch.
We have some lovely yarns from dje handwovens that will work up very nicely or feel free to bring two 100 gram balls/skeins of yarn which pair nicely. (if you purchase yarn in a skein please have it wound before class).
Bring lunch or take a break at one of the local eateries.
